Cornwall COMEDIAN of the YEAR

Following three sell out shows last year ‘Cornwall Comedian of the Year’ is back bigger and better than ever this year!

Such was the success of the competition last year it’s been decided to take it on the road for 2023 and we are delighted to be hosting the second semi-final at the Lane Theatre in Newquay.

This years’ competition will see 18 of the county’s best up and coming comedians going head to head over two semi-finals, with the audience voting for their favourites to go through to the final. The winner will not only take the title but also receive the ‘Jethro Cup’ named after the County’s greatest comedy export.

The night will be expertly held together by Plymouth based comedian David Arnold and will also feature a professional headline comedian in addition to the acts competing for the coveted title. This showcase is one you won’t want to miss!
